Details
George Greenough changed what a fin could do. Born in Santa Barbara in 1941, kneeboarding by 1961, he gave Nat Young the fin that won 1966 and handed the shortboard revolution its geometry. The 4A is the template that started it.
True Ames pours the Greenough 4A in solid fiberglass, a medium profile with a flared base for drive and a narrow, flexible tip for maneuverability. Neutral-positive and balanced, it runs from 6.5" up to 10.5" so it suits everything from a fish to a log.
