Wax Ball Vol.5 Recap

Last week's Wax Ball Vol. 5 went off without a hitch, bringing some much needed garage and blues tunes to the sleepy town of Laguna Beach. With about 100 fans in attendance, The Marine Room Tavern rocked Ocean Avenue in downtown Laguna with live music by Dano Forte's Juke Joint Freak Show and LA's Them Howling Bones. Surfboard shaper Dano Forte (of Dano Surfboards0 kick started the night with his one man blues band, doing his own renditions of his favorite delta blues songs. A few whiskey swigs later, Them Howling Bones took the stage and introduced their garage blues sound to Orange County's virgin ears. Their wild live set came to an end after a final encore song broke all their remaining drumsticks and with much good vibes and applause the Wax Ball Vol. 5 came to a loud and successful end.
