"The Godfathers Of Punk Rock" as they're known by many on the West Coast, The Standells formed in the early 1960s in Los Angeles, bringing a fuzzed out, Rolling Stones-ish meets garage rock kind of sound to the scene. Most likely you've heard their most famous hit "Dirty Water", which has become anthems for a lot of Boston sports teams, in fact, I found out about this song 'Rari' after I picked up the 'Dirty Water' 7" at the local record store. This song 'Rari' was the B-side, which brings me to my next point, B-sides are the best sides. Dig it. - Corey
