MALIBU PEOPLE

4.19.17

Early Wednesday morning I linked up with Grant Noble and his buddie Caden to set out on a sunrise session at the “BU”. Not easily convinced I decided since I had never been it would be rad to do it right, get up super early, and be there by sunrise. I knew if we were linking up with Tanner Prairie ( Tanner Surfboards, CMSC ) and his brother Levi (all around epic guy ) they would surely bring out the best of any conditions. To only have imagined what Malibu looked like, I was blown away with its beauty as the sun peaked over the hills. This Immediately reminded me of the classic film titled “Ciao! Manhattan” directed by John Palmer. This movie opens up with a song by folk rock artist John Phillips, called “Malibu People”. Where he tells a story of how “Malibu people really know how to live”. If you haven’t heard the song or seen the movie they are both great.

So with the sunrise setting the tone, the ocean blessing us with some fun waves and the line-up un-crowded for an hour or so, I had my first photo session in Malibu. Tanner, Grant, Levi, Caden, Kris Hall I Hope you Enjoy!
