Ryan Lovelace shapes Love Machine boards in Santa Barbara with a builder's eye for feeling over formula, and the Pedestrian Ship is one of his more curious experiments. He drew it up for the 2024 Stab Electric Acid Surfboard Test with Dave Rastovich, a rider who chases flow over fireworks. At 6'0" in a bright green apple, it is a board meant to be ridden loose and read by feel. For the surfer who would rather discover a board than calculate one.
