Gato Heroi Rust Surfboard Fin

Rust is one of the Gato Heroi resin tints, the color that reads warm against a clear log. Every fin in the line wears it the same way: laid up and tinted by hand, no two exactly alike.

Gato Heroi fins are hand-laid fiberglass, tinted by hand in the USA, the work Robin Kegel has built the label around since the early 2000s. The range runs from upright pivot templates for classic logs to higher-aspect flex shapes for performance logs and mid-lengths, heights from roughly 9.5 to 10.25 inches and bases from about 5.9 to 7.5 inches depending on the template. All of them drop into a standard single fin box.
