The Wax Ball Vol.5 This Thursday!

This upcoming Wax Ball will be our 5th one, and we've got a killer lineup for this night of 'Booze and Blues' First up, we've got our local shaping legend Dano Forte of Dano Surfboards cruising down with his one-man-juke-joint-freak-show, known around the world as Dano Forte's Juke Joint Freak Show. He'll be opening up the night with his crazed white man blues, and if you haven't caught his Freak Show yet, you're in for a rad treat. Dano Forte's Juke Joint Freak Show: Then, bringing down the normally peaceful Marine Room Tavern, will be Them Howling Bones, cruising down from LA to bring their version of 'garage blues rock n roll'. These guys sound like a whiskey shot outta hell and we're going to resurrect whatever version of Robert Johnson's crossroads experience we can find for this event. Them Howling Bones:
Thanks for supporting something different. About The Wax Ball: The Wax Ball is a monthly music event that happens every 2nd Thursday of the month, at The Marine Room Tavern. Est. in the 30s, The Marine Room Tavern is the oldest bar in Laguna Beach, and has more stories than the walls can tell. Owned and operated by the former town mayor, The Marine Room has proved to be the most genuine and original watering hole in town.
