Through The Fog with Justin and Nathan Adams

We can lie to ourselves all we want, but it's not hard to figure out that early mornings in April-July around here mean fog and gloom. Sure, we can say back in the day it was always sunny, but let's face it, "June Gloom" is a 4 month natural phenomena in Southern California. Luckily though, April is also usually the start of south swell season. The month usually starts with a few hints of the Summer swells to come, and the first week of April this year was no different. With a waist high swell in the water, and clean morning conditions, I knew somewhere or another was going to be good. I got a text from Nathan Adams and I made my way down to San-o to shoot with him and his brother Justin Adams. Now, most of you know who Justin is. You've probably seen him surfing in a Jack Coleman film, or you've seen him in the water and thought "woah, who is that?!" Both brothers have a unique style all their own - they basically both look like an Andy Davis drawing with how good their style is. The following are some screen shots (from video) and some black and white film from the morning.
