Classic Cars, Boards, and Tees with Jim Cocores!

Thalia Surf's roots in Laguna Beach run all the way back to 1994 when Jim Cocores purchased the rights to Toes on the Nose Surf Shop located on Thalia St in Laguna Beach Ca. The Toes on the Nose shop was decorated in vintage surf artifacts from surfing's early brands and boards. In 2001 Jim and his son Nick started a second shop, Thalia Surf Shop, just a couple of doors down, and focused on the emerging alternative surf culture. Eventually Jim sold the Toes on the Nose shop but his passion for vintage surf and car culture continue on to this day. Even though the original shop is gone we still have a soft spot for surfing's roots and our collection of classic tees is always growing. We recently caught up with Jim and he donned a few of our classic tees while he showed us around his garage.
