Mink Deville was led by frontman Willy DeVille, and are most known for coming up with the punk crowd of NY's CBGB in the late 70s to early 80s, probably our favorite era of punk rock.
So obviously this isn't the punk your used to, but if you consider Velvet Underground punk rock, these dudes fall close behind, and we assume you can see the resemblance to Lou Reed in Willy's voice. The reason we really dig this track though is because it's a ghetto love story, or better, a love story from the ghetto. For anyone who's a fan of the movie Little Shop of Horrors, you'll be stoked on this!
