The Fiberglass Chandelier of Forgotten Tides

Made by local legendary beachcomber Jim Olarte, this Fiberglass Chandelier took 10-15 years of monthly beachcombing to collect and create. Made of only found objects, the strands of this art piece contain pieces of lost ships, boats, kayaks, surfboards, and more. It serves as a reminder of the many ways in which we enjoy the ocean, and the many years we've had the pleasure of doing so. It hangs near the back of our shop in Laguna Beach.
