Thursday Tunage

A South African garage band from the 60s 'Os Impacto' covering Eddie Floyd's 'Knock On Wood'. This is a recording from the late sixties, when there was a movement in South Africa loosely known as 'Cazumbi', which was a trend where South African bands emulated the garage rock and 'british invasion' styles that were popular in America. What came from it was garage rock, but with more emphasis on the vocals, and in turn, blended into a style all it's own, something between garage rock and dirty soul singing, pretty epic if you ask us.
